Delete your DataAnonymiser account

In the app

On a phone or computer where you are signed in, open the account menu by tapping or clicking your email address in the sidebar, choose Delete account…, type your email address to confirm, and choose Delete account.

On the website

Sign in on your account page with your email address, choose Delete account… at the bottom, type your email address to confirm, and choose Delete account.

By email

If you can no longer sign in, write to support@dataanonymiser.com from the address of your account. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Deletion is immediate and can't be undone:

• your account and its email address;
• your plan and subscription record, and the devices registered to the account;
• pending sign-in codes and device pairings;
• feedback submissions linked to the account.

A running subscription is cancelled at the same moment. The remaining time isn't refunded. The app on your devices is signed out; presets and the downloaded model stay on each device until you remove the app.

What is kept

• Invoices and payment records, held by our payment processor Stripe for as long as tax and accounting law requires (in Germany, up to ten years).
• The Stripe customer ID of the deleted account and the date of deletion, so a billing notice that arrives late can't recreate the account.
• A one-way fingerprint of a card that was used for an earlier free trial, if any, no longer linked to any account. It only prevents the same card from starting repeated trials.
• Copies of feedback examples you chose to send us that are already in our review inbox, and emails you wrote to support. Ask at the address above and we delete them too.

Nothing you anonymized was ever on our servers: text, images and results are processed on your device, so there is nothing of that kind to delete. More in our Privacy Policy.
