CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Summarise the ticket. Not the customer.

Support queues are one of the highest-volume places personal data meets AI: every ticket is a real person with a real email address, a real order number, and often a real complaint. Almost none of that is needed to draft the reply.

Volume is what makes this a data problem

One ticket pasted into an AI tool is a lapse. A team doing it a hundred times a day is a systematic disclosure of your customer base to a third party, usually with nobody having decided that it should happen.

Redacting at the agent's desk changes the shape of that: the AI still gets the substance of the complaint, the error message and the timeline, and stops getting the identity attached to it.

The identifiers support tickets actually contain

Names, personal and work email addresses, phone numbers, postal and delivery addresses, order and account numbers, invoice references, and often a signature block containing several of these at once. Forwarded email threads multiply it, because every reply carries the whole history.

Detection covers direct identifiers and structured references alike, and the same customer keeps the same placeholder throughout a long thread, so a summary of the exchange still tracks who said what.

Find out how much is already sitting in your archives

If you export tickets for analysis, training data or a vendor handover, the folder scan will tell you which files carry which categories of personal data before you share them — a per-file, per-category report produced entirely on the machine holding the export.

Frequently asked

Questions about this workflow.

Can agents restore the customer's real details afterwards?

Yes. The placeholder mapping stays on the device for the current session, so the AI's draft reply comes back with placeholders and the agent restores the real name and order number locally before sending it.

Does this work with our helpdesk?

It works with the text, which means it works with any helpdesk. The browser extension also warns when personal data is typed into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Gmail or Outlook, which covers a lot of real support workflows without any integration.

Can we check what our team is redacting?

No — and neither can we. Content never leaves the device and there is no server-side record. If central visibility is a requirement, that is a genuine trade-off worth discussing before you buy.
